Stone’s The Monumental Masons was founded in 1876 by Samuel G. Stone on the same Weymouth site we still proudly occupy today. For generations, we have helped families create lasting memorials with care, guidance and understanding during difficult times.
The business has remained rooted in traditional craftsmanship, with the father, grandfather and great-grandfather of the current proprietor, David Hounsell, all working as skilled stonemasons in Weymouth. This long-standing heritage continues to shape the personal service and attention to detail we provide today.
From handcrafted headstones to bespoke commemorative stonework, we help you choose a memorial that feels right for your loved one and the place where it will stand.
